Kids Giving Back has been delighted to have so many kids, families and schools participating in our volunteering programs over the last couple of months. We launched our very first school holiday program with 5 – 8yr olds serving scones, playing bingo and participating in ‘armchair Zumba’ with our new friends from the Holdsworth Community. A fun and rewarding intergenerational morning was had by all.
Amongst others we’ve also welcomed groups from Riverview, Rustic Pathways and ANZ Australia Financial Partners who have given up their time to help the homeless, the elderly and others in need via our Cook4Good, Scones4Good, an
Coinciding with NAIDOC week, our recent Connect4Good session for 8-13 year olds brought together kids from Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal backgrounds for a story creation workshop run by inspiring children’s author and illustrator Emma Mactaggart from Child Writes.
We’re looking forward to working with many more schools, families and corporates in upcoming months, and introducing them to communities where they will be making a difference. It’s incredibly affirming for us to see the Next Generation of Generosity growing before our eyes. On another note…. stay tuned for details of Kids Giving Back’s 5th Birthday celebrations!
